Can the State of Michigan Return 25 Years Stolen From a Man's Life? - Do the Clown Parties in D.C. Need a Third Party To Wake Them Up -

After spending over 2 decades in a Michigan state prison for selling marijuana to an informant in 1994, Michael Thompson is thankful to God that he was saved from life in prison.

Michael was granted clemency in 2021 by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, he wouldn't have been eligible for parole until 2038, he is over 70 - another possible death by incarceration - just for selling some weed, in a state that legalized recreational marijuana in 2018.

Michael said he felt like he would never get out and cut all outside communication for 20 years. People thought he had gone crazy but Michael says he was just too tired of people lying to him.

But In the case of Michael Thompson, an uncommon thing occurred, Michigan's Attorney General Dana Nessel, along with the Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton, sent letters of support to the governor explaining why Thompson should be released because his punishment outweighed his crime?

Michael's attorney Kimberly Corral said it shouldn't have taken so long for Michael to be released. She said this case is evidence that the criminal justice system “isn’t worthy of our trust” and "the criminal justice system has not offered a way to correct itself,” added Corral.

So why now and how? How did it work out for Michael - Well, this is how it looks like when public pressure becomes something so big that the state can't ignore it anymore.

PUBLIC PRESSURE CAN FORCE MICHIGAN GOVERNOR AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL TO INTERVENE? - NICE!

Michael is now working on his Michael Thompson Clemency Project that aims to help other fellow citizens get clemency and free themselves from unusual and harsh punishments.

Michael will not allow them to weaponize slavery anymore. Thompson made a promise to many individuals who are still left behind, he says he wont forget them.

What’s next for Michael, is to wake up America, with his documentary film - The Sentence of Michael Thompson - the film shows how cruelly we treat our fellow citizens in prisons - across the land of the free - and the home of the brave.
